Registration is open for a free two-day workshop by the Australian Home Funeral Alliance in conjunction with the Death Literacy Institute. A lovely news article written about Chris who was a fantastic guy from the local area of Tuross - who really understood the act of returning to nature. He was so encouraging during the establishment of the Conservation Burial and it’s an honour to now have him here as he wished.

Today - we have come back after six weeks …to weave the Lid! We now have made the most sustainable coffin possible… and also a regenerative coffin as it’s made from an invasive vine that has been pulled from the bush. A double-good!

The last few days have been great - connecting with people in the industry and government at a conference in Bega. Shanna Provost spoke beautifully about end-of-life and she always engages the audience with a laugh (most important to give the death topic a little relief!) We had the opportunity to present Walawaani Way and illustrate the benefits of bodies returning naturally to soil and the creation of protected habitat. I was really excited to meet so many great people in the Industry.
