Thanks to those that turned up at the lake when i held a bbq on Australia Day …
I wasn’t asking for donations, but some were more than happy to throw a few $$ in .. $120 collected and kindly donated to the Ballarat Veterans Assistance Centre (BVAC)..
These guys do a great job helping our veterans in the everyday struggles of life ..

Mates Day Ballarat donates to the BVAC every year , and just recently donated $10,000 from the previous year’s event (2024) ..

Monday the 26th of January ,AUSTRALIA DAY..I will be setting up a bbq at this position at 8 am .. I’ll be supplying saus...

Monday the 26th of January ,
AUSTRALIA DAY..
I will be setting up a bbq at this position at 8 am ..
I’ll be supplying sausages, bread and sauce ..
This is a “friends “ gathering , so no need for special permission, food handling permit, it’s just an Australian Day bbq amongst friends .. 😊
I certainly will have my Australian and Eureka flags ,, please fell free to bring along your AUSSIE flag ..
If numbers build between now and then ??? , maybe a coffee van if anyone has contacts.. (will depend on numbers whether it’s worth it ) ..
This is just a quick throw together , will tweak through the week ..
Feel free to add your thoughts on this ..

I may not answer straight away as I gotta keep working to support the “system” 🤐
But I will get back to you ..
