We brought railcar manufacturing back to WA after 27 years, creating more jobs for West Aussies. 🚆👷

We’re building the ferries that will deliver METRONET on Swan. ⛴️

And we’re building bendy electric buses (and non-bendy buses!) so people can make use of our cheap public transport – just $2.80 with a SmartRider. 🚌⚡

That’s putting Western Australia first.

This weekend hundreds of first responders gathered in Perth for the WA Fire and Emergency Services Awards where the best of the best were recognised for exceptional deeds.

🚗🛣️ A powerful, tech-driven road safety program is coming to the Baldivis electorate this term!

Road Smart will support students in Years 7 to 9 to make safer choices on and around our roads.

💡 This immersive program will give young people practical skills and real-world insight to influence their behaviour, build awareness and reduce risk-taking as passengers, pedestrians and future drivers.

I want to acknowledge Ridgeview Secondary College for taking the next step in bringing this important, life-changing learning opportunity to their students. 🙌🎓

Schools that participate aren’t just booking a program — they’re helping shape safer attitudes and behaviours that can prevent serious injuries and save lives in our communities.

THANKYOU KERRIE TRIGWELL 👮

Senior Constable Kerrie Trigwell is retiring after an incredible 48 years of service, making her the longest serving female officer in the history of the WA Police Force.

Her dedication and commitment to policing is an inspiration to all women in the Force and our new recruits.

To mark the occasion, Kerrie gifted me her special retirement ‘merch’ - chocolates with the years of her service (1978 to 2026) and Kerrie’s own ‘retiremints’ for her farewell.

Kerrie was among six officers ceremonially marched off the parade ground, marking 237 years of combined dedicated service.

Congratulations Kerrie and all our retiring officers for your service.
