Every year our Beanies to Berets exhibition gives us something special, in 2026 that is Elliot, aged 12, and his fabulous knitted beanie 'Winter Beach'.

Elliot practiced and practiced and frogged (undid) his work several times to get it right, seeking help from local artist Mary Pulford in the process.

I think you'll agree that's impressive determination and dedication.

Elliot's work is on display until Monday 15 June, unless sold.

Beanies to Berets opened yesterday.
