continues to build strong international alliances to empower the next generation and foster a forward-looking nuclear sector. Today, we reached two major milestones by signing formal MoUs with KINGS and WNTI.

👩‍🏫 MoU with Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO) International Nuclear Graduate School (KINGS)
Signed alongside James Jae-hak Jang, President of , this agreement establishes a cooperative framework to cultivate future nuclear leaders, with a strong focus on empowering women across the sector. Together, we will expand global cooperation through joint educational initiatives, knowledge sharing, and international networking.

☢️ MoU with World Nuclear Transport Institute (WNTI)
Signed with Derek Ray-Hill, Chief Executive of , this strategic partnership focuses on building an inclusive and collaborative nuclear sector. Our shared objectives include strengthening international cooperation, nurturing diverse leadership talent, and promoting informed public dialogue on nuclear science, technologies, and their everyday applications.

Exciting news from Day 1 at in Vienna ⚛️✨

As part of the side event "Building Scientific Capacity for Global Health and Development: The ICTP-IAEA Partnership in Action", marked a key milestone today by signing a new MoU with the ICTP: International Centre for Theoretical Physics 🇮🇹

👉 The formal signing brought together Melina Belinco (President of WiN Global), Atish Dabholkar (Director of ICTP), Ralf Kaiser (Head of Programmes at ICTP), and Najat Mokhtar (Deputy Director General of Nuclear Applications at the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA)).

This strategic partnership aims to strengthen scientific capacity, professional development, and leadership for women across the global nuclear sector. Under the MoU, both organisations will collaborate by:

🔹 Co-hosting joint events & workshops: Delivering targeted leadership and career-development initiatives, with a special focus on women scientists and professionals from developing countries.

🔹 Supporting mentoring & networking: Connecting scientists trained through ICTP programmes directly into WiN Global's professional network to foster long-term career support.

This week, WiN Global is marking major milestones at the World Nuclear Symposium 2026, hosted by the World Nuclear Association in London 🇬🇧

To kick off these key days, we renewed our partnership with the by signing an extension of our Memorandum of Understanding, reaffirming our joint commitment to building a stronger, more diverse nuclear workforce.

✨ Our President, Melina Belinco, participated in the panel “The Cornerstone of Delivery: Workforce, Leadership and Capability for the Nuclear Scale-up” as well as the Knowledge Zone session “Investing in Leaders: Why organisations send people to the SI”. She shared her valuable executive perspective, reflecting the inclusive, collaborative leadership that WiN Global advances across the sector.

👉 Furthermore, WiN Global, represented by Verónica Garea, led a session as part of the WNA Working Group on Workforce Development—putting inclusion and gender balance right where they belong: at the heart of future workforce strategies.
