At the Annual Heritage Round and Seamus Marron Memorial (Legends) Game - not even the rain could stop the head to head clash between the Elizabeth and Para Hills teams. I genuinely enjoyed the game kick off.
What made the event even more special was the heart behind it - supporting the Better Bloke Project. It was powerful to see sport, community and purpose come together to champion a cause - moments like these remind us why community spirit matters.

A great night at the Smithfield Sports & Social Club Inc AGM on 9 April joined by fellow councillor Cr Clint Marsh - City of Playford Ward1.

It was wonderful to reconnect with familiar faces and continue strengthening relationships with a club I've had the privilege of working closely with - including the last two Presidents and their committees.
I've been fortunate to build strong connections and now I'm looking forward to another positive chapter with the newly elected President *Mark Podzuweit* and Vice President *David Thompson*

Congratulations to Mark and David 🎉🥳🎊both with genuine commitment to serving the club and it's people. Their focus is on strengthening every team from the youngest to the most experienced, across all sports and divisions within the club - bringing the community together and helping the club continue to grow.

A heartfelt thank you to the outgoing committee members for their dedication.

As an elected member for Ward 2 with Smithfield being one of the communities I advocate for, it's always inspiring to see the spirit of collaboration and community pride alive and well.

Here's to another strong year ahead for the Smithfield Sports and Social Club and the wider community 🎉⚡💙
