🌍✨ In July 2024, I was honored to receive grant funding through the Mandela Washington Fellowship's Leveraging In New Communities (LINC) Grant. As part of this initiative, I had the privilege of collaborating with my fellow alumni, Chibuzor Charles Agomuoh from Nigeria, on the project "𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐭 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐍𝐨𝐧𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐭"
This project successfully trained 𝟏𝟓𝟓 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐬 from 𝐍𝐢𝐠𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐚 and 𝐀𝐧𝐠𝐨𝐥𝐚 in conflict management, focusing on 𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧-𝐟𝐨𝐜𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠. The results have been outstanding: 𝟗𝟕% 𝐨𝐟 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐬 shared that the training had a meaningful impact on their personal and professional relationships.
Many participants now feel more confident in resolving conflicts within their organizations, promoting workplace harmony, and improving team dynamics, even, though I have improved a lot after this training in terms of resolving conflicts.🙌🏾✨
Given this success, we are excited to adapt the program for U.S. professionals while addressing the unique challenges businesses and organizations in 𝐀𝐧𝐠𝐨𝐥𝐚 face. 🌟
💬 𝑳𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒆𝒏ç𝒐 𝑫𝒐𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒐𝒔, 𝑯𝑹 𝑼𝒏𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝑺𝒕𝒖𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒕, 𝑳𝒖𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒂 – 𝑨𝒏𝒈𝒐𝒍𝒂, shared his experience:
"As a student of Human Resource Management, participating in this program has been essential for my growth. It has provided me with invaluable skills that I can apply in both my studies and future career. This training has not only expanded my understanding of conflict management but has also empowered me to thrive in difficult conversations and challenging situations. Continuing this program is crucial for my development, and I truly believe it will help me succeed in my personal and professional life." 💛🥰🙏🏾
So proud of what we've accomplished together and excited for what's to come! 🚀
