Joint Scientific Meetings Held Between ASQA and the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation, and Livestock
To expand scientific cooperation and enhance the level of specialized research, the Standards and Quality Authority (ASQA) held a series of joint technical meetings with the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation, and Livestock (MAIL).
Initiated by the Directorate of Studies and Research at ASQA, these meetings focused on strengthening scientific convergence between specialized institutions and utilizing national research capacities, specifically for the development of standards for poultry farms.
During these sessions, ASQA representatives discussed establishing a cohesive framework for standard-based research, exchanging specialized knowledge, and effectively utilizing practical experiences with the Director of Livestock Research and the Manager of Farms.
The Director of Livestock Research welcomed these collaborations, ensuring the sharing of scientific data, research papers, and relevant documentation regarding poultry farms. He also emphasized comprehensive cooperation in the drafting and development of standards.
In a separate meeting with the Directorate of the Minister’s Office at MAIL, both parties stressed the importance of strengthening administrative coordination, facilitating joint cooperation processes, and creating effective mechanisms for advancing future scientific and research programs.
These collaborations represent a significant step toward developing scientific standards for poultry farms, improving production quality, and strengthening the country's agricultural and livestock sectors.
