In February 1978, the Public Relations Conference of Arab Ministries of Interior was held in Abu Dhabi to discuss strengthening public cooperation with police, reducing crime, and promoting positive behavior.
Following the conference, welcomed the participating delegations in the presence of Colonel Abdullah Khalifa Bu Al Houl, Lieutenant Colonel Dhahi Khalfan Tamim, Lieutenant Colonel Khadem Surour Al Ma’asem, and a number of officers. The guests toured departments across Dubai Police and learned about its capabilities, modern equipment, and level of development at the time.
