لإمارة أبوظبي هو مجموعة من المسابقات والفعاليات المثيرة حيث يمكنكم من خلالها الاستمتاع بالتراث والأصالة التي تتميز بها دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة ويعرف عشاق السياحة التراثية من مختلف أنحاء العالم ببوابة الربع الخالي في مدينة زايد.
وقد تحول المهرجان خلال فترة ليست بالطويلة إلى حدث إقليمي يجذبكم لمشاهدة 12 فعالية متميزة، هي

مزاينة الظفرة للإبل ومسابقة الحلاب وسباق الإبل التراثي ومزاد الإبل ومسابقات الصقور والسلوقي العربي والتصوير الفوتوغرافي والسيارات الكلاسيكية والحرف اليدوية إضافة إلى فعاليات مزاينة التمور والسوق التراثي وقرية الطفل، هذه الفعاليات تقدم لكم حكايات التاريخ والحضارة والتطور في تآلف وتناغم فريد من نوعه يمزج بين عراقة وأصالة الماضي وحداثة الحاضر. Organised in Madinat Zayed, in Al Gharbia (The Western Region) on an annual basis since 2008, Al Dhafra Festival offers a bouquet of exciting competitions and events, through which visitors can enjoy the heritage and authenticity that characterise the United Arab Emirates. The Festival is also an occasion for the lovers of heritage tourism to discover and explore the Gate of the Empty Quarter in Madinat Zayed. Al Dhafra Festival has turned, within a short period of time, into a regional and international event that draws a large number of visitors who come to enjoy 12 exceptional activities, namely: Mazayna Al Dhafra (Camel Beauty Contest), the Mahaleb Competition, the Traditional Camel Race, the Camel Auction, the Falcon Competition, the Traditional Arabian Saluki Race, the Photography Competition, the Classic Car Contest, the Handicrafts Competition, the Dates Mazayna, the Traditional Souq and the Children’s Village. All these activities present to visitors tales of the past, civilisation, and progress in a unique harmony and agreement that blend between the authenticity and deep-rootedness of the past and the modernity of the present.

يسلّط‭ ‬المهرجان‭ ‬من‭ ‬خلال‭ ‬مزاينة‭ ‬الإبل‭ ‬الضوء‭ ‬على‭ ‬دور‭ ‬الإبل‭ ‬في‭ ‬ثقافة‭ ‬وتراث‭ ‬دولة‭ ‬الإمارات،‭ ‬ويشمل‭ ‬العديد‭ ‬من‭ ‬الفعاليات‭ ‬المصاحبة‭ ‬مثل‭ ‬السوق‭ ‬الشعبي‭ ‬ومزاينة‭ ‬التمور‭ ‬وتغليفها‭ ‬ومزاينة‭ ‬الصقور‭ ‬ و بطولة سباق السلوقي العربي التراثي ومزاينة‭ ‬السلوقي‭ ‬العربي‭ ‬التراثي‭ ‬وسباق‭ ‬الخيول‭ ‬العربية‭ ‬الأصيلة‭ ‬وبرامج‭ ‬متنوعة‭ ‬للزوار‭ ‬وأنشطة‭ ‬تراثية‭ ‬أخرى‭.‬

Inspired by the Emirati Culture and heritage, Al Dhafra is an annual festival, held under the patronage of His Highness General Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces. The Festival seeks to bring together generations, cultivate patriotic spirit among young people, revive and perpetuate heritage.

Al Dhafra (Camel Beauty Contest) sheds light on the role of camels in the culture and heritage of the UAE. It includes many events, notably the Camel Mazayna (camel beauty contest), camel auctions, the traditional market, the Dates Competition, poetry, photography, folk music, the Falcon Competition, Arabian Saluki beauty championship, Arabian Saluki traditional race championship and other traditional activities. Participation in the camel beauty contest is open to purebred breeds, namely Al Asayel and Al Majahim. Hybrid breeds are not accepted.
